A whole magical mysterious day of Beatleness.
An extended journey covering the City Centre, South Liverpool, PLUS some lesser known venues in the North of the City. We see everything on the Ticket to Ride tour - The city centre area and South Liverpool. Penny Lane | A visit to the Strawberry Field Visitor Centre | Homes for all 4 Beatles | Eleanor Rigbys Grave | St Peters Church where Lennon met McCartney | Schools & Colleges | and lots lots more. Instead of a brief visit to the magical new Strawberry Field Visitor Centre, we can spend some time in the gardens, cafe, gift shop & exhibition. We'll also hang out for a bit at Penny Lane to check out the song locations & the Penny Lane Development Centre.
PLUS: Paul McCartney's birthplace (Mine too!) | Paul's first home | First ever recording studio | Brian Epstein Graveyard (Gates only) Liverpool & Everton Football Clubs | Clubmoor Hall, the Venue where Paul first played with John and plenty more.
PLUS: We spend an hour at The Casbah Coffee Club on a guided tour with one of the Best family. Usual Roag Jnr. Many folk say that this is a real highlight. The cellar bar has hardly been touched since the lads played there & decorated the walls and ceilings.
Entrance fee & tour is £20 per person payable direct on the day. Cash only.
PLUS: With 7 hours we can either go at a more leisurely pace and enjoy a nice lunch at Strawberry Field or a Beatles related pub.
NOTE: Penny Lane Development Trust may not be open certain days.
NOTE: We do NOT go inside John & Pauls National Trust homes, just exterior visits. You have to book this via the National Trust on their minibus. see www.nationaltrust.org.uk/beatles. If you book the 2.10 tour from Speke Hall we can arrange to finish your tour at the drop off point.
