I love these! Fully immerse yourself in Local Life with a tour combining public transport and shank's pony (on foot). Half day or all day tours walking in the footsteps of The Beatles using the transport and routes they took themselves back in the day. Beatle Ale Trails, combine city walking tours with the odd pint en route in pubs with Beatle tales to tell. Great fun!
On the buses!
£300 full day plus approx £5 per person all day pass
Here we explore South Liverpool on the transport the lads would use back in the day - the public bus. really good fun way to see, and immerse yourself in Liverpool life. Locals always chat, and its surprising how much extra you see from the top of a double decker.
We take the bus to Woolton Village and explore where John met Paul. Walk to Strawberry Field, grab a snack to keep us going, walk to Johns, then across Allerton Golf Course (stop for lunch on the 19th hole!) to Paul's. We then make the bus in seconds flat at the corner of Forthlin Road and head through Penny Lane back to the city.
LOTS OF WALKING! Only for the fit and healthy. We walk approx 7 miles.
