Absolutely the Best and Most Complete Liverpool Area Beatles Tour ever!
Two ultimate days in Beatle Heaven. Here is an idea of how your Double Fantasy Beatles Experience would work out. Each individual tour would be tailor made and a little different, as not all venues are open every day. Rest assured, with great connections and 20 years experience, it will be the best itinerary I can possibly offer. I have not listed all the sites we will see, partly to deter copycat tours, and partly because I like the days to unveil as they happen, but please trust me - you will see a lot! The tour illustrated is a private chauffeur driven trip for 1 to 5 people, but I can offer this itinerary for groups of any size.
DAY IN THE LIFE ONE
At 9am on Day One In The Life, you'll be greeted by a very enthusiastic me, and our lovely chauffeur in his Mercedes Viano minivan equipped with water bottles and sweeties. We'll start off visiting the sites of North Liverpool, including The Litherland area where we will see The Lathom Club, a cracking little underrated place seldom seen on regular tours. We'll also see the birthplace of Paul McCartney. Around 11am,we will visit
The Casbah Coffee Club for a one hour whirlwind tour of this incredible location. More venues en route, including a visit to pay respects to Stuart Sutcliffe, Next up is a visit to Woolton Village to talk about the day John met Paul with special guests Len Garry and Colin Hanton of The Quarrymen. We will also see Eleanor Rigby's grave before lunch at the wonderful new Strawberry Field Visitor Centre. We'll then head South to the Speke area where we'll see two more homes each of George and Paul. Exclusively we may (not always guaranteed if occupied) be able to pop in to number 25 Upton Green, the home where George lived from age 6 to 19, and visited by the other three many times. We'll also drive by Liverpool John Lennon Airport. , and a glimpse at Mendips and Forthlin Road in anticipation of our visit on Day 2. We'll see the home of Julia, and Quarrybank School, John’s first home, George’s Birthplace all en route to the Blue Suburban Skies of Penny Lane. Via Sefton Park to the Dingle we will see Ringo's old homes and the Empress Pub. See City Centre venues on our way back to The Cavern Club area, where we will have certainly earned a pint at the end of a Beatle Filled Day.
The day will run from approximately 9.30 till 4.30pm
DAY TWO IN THE LIFE
9.30 start today when I'll be waiting once again at your hotel to start our day with a taxi ride to the Albert Dock where we will pick up the National Trust Minibus which will take us on the home visits to Mendips and Forthlin Road. Here you will be taken back to the 1940s and ‘50s to discover how Lennon and McCartney grew up in the Liverpool Suburbs. Really evocative morning enhanced by the National Trust guides, with extra input from me. When we arrive back at Albert Dock around 12.30, our chauffeur and car will be ready to whisk us away to the other side of the River Mersey for lunch at Port Sunlight. This is the picturesque place where The Beatles became The Fab Four as we know them, when Ringo took his permanent place behind the drums. After lunch we will explore this lesser known side of the River, seeing Cynthia's home, the site of New Brighton's Tower Ballroom, and some of the very early and more unusual venues they played. We'll see the home Paul bought for his father, and still owns. After a leisurely afternoon of lovely country scenery, we will head back on the Ferry Cross The Mersey to Mathew Street where we will be greeted by the lovely friendly face of Good Ol' Freda Kelly. She will tell you about her halcyon days as The Beatles Fan Club Secretary. The perfect end to two magical days immersed in everything Beatles!
This day will run from approximately 9.30am till 6.00pm

Can I have a little more?
If you're a millionaire fanatical slightly loopy (in a good way) mega Beatles fan - this might still not be enough! You could add more day trips down the long and winding road to Chester or Wales, or up to the Southport area. See the Day Tripper page for even more.
